Set in the heart of the French Quarter overlooking the Mississippi River, Jackson Square is one of New Orleans' most recognizable landmarks.  The Square occupies 2.5 acres and sees over 2 million tourists and locals each year. Jackson Square is one of NOLA's most popular spaces for a wedding and for good reason. The location is the center of the city and the backdrop of the St. Louis Cathedral is incredible at all times of day.

The "Tree of Life" is thought to be one of the oldest trees in Audubon Park. Some say that many many years ago the tree was planted as a wedding gift to his wife by the plantation owner. It has giant branches and is the perfect backdrop for a wedding. It's a short drive from the French Quarter and adjacent to the Audubon Zoo.

Pirate's Alley is a short pedestrian street that runs parallel to the St. Louis Cathedral and Cabildo from Jackson Square to Royal Street. It's the subject of many New Orleans legends, with the most famous being a secret meeting between Andrew Jackson and the Jean Lafitte. It was also once the home of William Faulkner.
