"Jackson Square" is the epicenter of the French Quarter. Located between Decatur street and the St. Louis Cathedral it offers a picturesque background. You can choose to be married in front of the fountain or underneath one of the larger shade trees.
The "Tree of Life" is thought to be one of the oldest trees in Audubon Park. Some say that many many years ago the tree was planted as a wedding gift to his wife by the plantation owner. It has giant branches and is the perfect backdrop for a wedding. It's a short drive from the French Quarter and adjacent to the Audubon Zoo.
Pirate's Alley is a short pedestrian street that runs parallel to the St. Louis Cathedral and Cabildo from Jackson Square to Royal Street. It's the subject of many New Orleans legends, with the most famous being a secret meeting between Andrew Jackson and the Jean Lafitte. It was also once the home of William Faulkner.
